The Story Behind Brio

Every great dream starts somewhere…

For me, that dream became BRIO BOUTIQUE on June 10, 2010, in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Housed in the coolest A-frame building on Main Street, BRIO was a fresh take on fashion for the area, bringing women a boutique experience unlike anything they had seen before.

The love from our BRIO BABES inspired me to dream bigger. On August 18, 2014, I brought that same passion for fashion to the heart of historic downtown Cochrane, Alberta.

And here we are, 16+ years later, still doing what we love most -bringing women beautiful, distinctive fashion, personal styling, and those special pieces you won’t find on everyone else.

But BRIO has always been about more than clothes. It’s about the experience, the connections, the confidence, and the feeling you get when you find something that makes you feel absolutely amazing. We’re known for keeping it real, styling you honestly, and helping every BRIO BABE find her own kind of fabulous.

My love for fashion began long before BRIO. Growing up travelling to Italy, one of the world’s most iconic fashion destinations, I was mesmerized by Italian women. They dressed with confidence, effortless glamour, and a little extra sass-even for a trip to the grocery store! That spirit of dressing up, embracing your individuality, and making every day feel a little more special is something I’ve always wanted to bring home.

That’s the heart of BRIO. A little Italian-inspired glam, a lot of personality, and a whole lot of love for the women who walk through our doors.

Because once you’re a BRIO BABE, you’re always a BRIO BABE.
